“A House Is Not A Home” wins Best Horror Feature Film!

This past weekend, the film “A House Is Not A Home”, won the award for Best Horror Feature Film at the Burbank International Film Festival in Burbank, CA. If you’ve been keeping up with this blog, you would know that the Kondelik Brothers wrote the screenplay for the film directed by Chris Olen Ray and produced by Gerald Webb and Christopher Ray. The film is starring Gerald Webb, Bill Cobbs, Eddie Steeples, Diahnna Nicole Baxter, Aurora Joon P, Melvin Gregg, and Richard Grieco. Victoria Dadi also had a role in writing the screenplay.

A House is Not A Home wins Best Horror Feature Film at the Burbank International Film Festival 2013

The film had its first theatrical premiere at the Burbank International Film Festival on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 and was shown to a completely sold out AMC theater! The entire lobby was full of eager movie-goers that have never seen the film before but have heard all about it. There was also a red carpet for the stars, directors, producers, and writers of the film. And yes, Diahnna Nicole Baxter looked amazing!

After the film premiere, the Kondelik Brothers were interviewed on the red carpet about writing the screenplay and also what is coming up in the pipelines for them. They’re currently filming their next movie that they wrote, are directing, and will be editing. These guys are so incredibly talented and driven!

Countdown begins for Dom Liberati’s Video Release “WALK”!

Start your watches and mark your calendars! The countdown for Dom Liberati’s video release of his new single, “WALK,” has begun. It will be released July 1st (2 days before our Birthday just in case anyone wanted to know.)

This isn’t our first rodeo with Mr. Liberati. Our last video was for his single off his album, The Good Hurt called, “We Own the Night.”

This shoot for WALK couldn’t have gone more smooth. This time Jon Kondelik went solo behind the camera as Director and James is maintaining his Editorial role.

We will be posting pictures from the video as well as behind the scenes photos on our Facebook page as we count down the days to the Video Release.

Kyle Stryker is back to lend his talents as Director of Photographer from our previous video, TOXIC by The Halo Method.

Poster Revealed for A House is Not a Home

DeInstitutionalized LLC has released the first poster for their horror thrillerA House is Not a Home.  The film notably stars Gerald Webb (True Blood), Bill Cobbs (Night at the Museum), Eddie Steeples (My Name is Earl) and Richard Grieco (21 Jump Street).  Head inside for a larger look.

The Williams’ Family have recently moved into their residence, but something is not right. Shapes and shadows move in the home, late at night and a presence is stalking this family.

Post-production wraps on the film in June.

The poster has been released for the upcoming horror film A HOUSE IS NOT A HOME. The poster makes the house look like a face if you really look at it. The windows are the eyes; the arch way can be the mouth. It is a pretty cool poster. The film itself deals with an entity that lives within the house and a new family that just moved into it. The film is also produced by 21 Jump Street star Richard Grieco. Check out the poster and trailer for A HOUSE IS NOT A HOME after the jump.

DeInstitutionalized LLC has released the first poster for their horror thriller A House is Not a Home. This horror title was shot in Simi Valley, California during December of 2012. The film notably stars Gerald Webb (Layover, “True Blood”)Bill Cobbs (Night at the Museum), Eddie Steeples (“My Name is Earl”) and Richard Grieco (“21 Jump Street”). And, A House is Not a Home will complete post-production in June of this year.

The first graphic for the feature warns of an entity inside this new home. The Williams’ Family have recently moved into their residence, but something is not right. Shapes and shadows move in the home, late at night and a presence is stalking this family. That presence is hinted at, if viewers look closely at the movie poster for A House is Not a Home.

Horror fans will not have to wait long to see the film. Once production is complete, A House is Not a Home will seek distribution across multiple formats. Specific release details will be announced shortly through production houses DeInstitutionalized LLC, Transformation Films and Tiki Terrors LLC.

Leaving is not an option – says the first official poster for the upcoming horror thriller A House Is Not a Home. What can I tell you guys, I’m definitely interested inChristopher Ray‘s latest project, even though we’re talking about (yet) anotherhaunted-house story. Head inside to take a better look at the poster & let us know what you think!

In case you’ve missed the first trailer for the movie, you have nothing to worry about – the link will open in new tab and take you to Ben and Linda, who move their family into a dream home in a last ditch effort to save their troubled marriage.

But… yes, good guess! Despite their good intentions, they cannot shake the feeling that they are being watched by something…

The rest of the story goes like this:

Their unimaginable fears are realized when things inside the house take a supernatural and sinister turn. Ben and his family flee for their lives, but it is too late. The house isn’t finished with them, trapping the family in its labyrinth. The Williamses must come together as never before to fight for their family, their lives, and to escape.
